Bentley’s Mulsanne is a sedan from the VW owned company that replaced the Arnage. It is a high class vehicle and the starting MSRP of just under $300,000 reflects this. The new trim levels can turn this car into a very pleasant place to stay for a long time and make it a very versatile vehicle.

First of all, the length of almost 220 inches alone makes this car look imposing. When you add other features it looks even more so. The moonroof is now a standard feature, which is great. But the thing that really allows you to stand out, as if just owning a Bentley wasn’t enough, is the fact that there are more than 100 colors available.
The front view is dominated by huge headlights and a vast upper grille that must catch the eye. Under these two, there is a bumper which leads to another grille under it that stretches over the entire width of the car. The lights are round and the grille is chrome. Bentley says that everything that looks like metal in the Mulsanne is in fact metal.

From the side, the designers of the Mulsanne couldn’t hide its vastness. Not that they have tried to do that, mind you. The line that starts under the headlights, climbs above the wheels, continues between the side windows and ends at the back, although subtle looking really adds a lot to the appearance of this car. The wheels can be 20 or 21 inches wide.

Engine and Performance Specs

The engine in the Bentley Mulsanne is a 6.8 l V8 that produces 505 hp. At only 1,750 rpm you get a whopping 752 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic. There are three pre-defined settings for steering and air suspension, including the one where you can optimize the settings yourself. The fuel consumption is some 15% better than that of the previous model and it comes to 11-18 mpg.
So, if you can afford the top trim level, this could be you.
